Most training in this industry certifies attendance. You sit through the course, you pass a quiz about the framework, you get a badge that says you were there.

HOBA TECH Ltd is now an accredited member of The CPD Certification Service (membership no. 50283) and is listed in the CPD Provider Directory — the independent register professionals and employers use to find training that genuinely counts towards continuing professional development.

What CPD membership means

The CPD Certification Service is the UK's leading independent accreditation body for professional development, with over 25 years of benchmarking training against a recognised, third-party standard. Membership means HOBA Tech's training operation — its structure, its materials, its assessments — has been reviewed against that standard, and that HOBA Tech can submit its programmes for formal CPD certification.

For the people who take our programmes, it means three things:

1. Independent verification. Not our say-so — an external body with nothing to gain from passing us.
2. Recognised CPD hours. Certified programmes count towards the annual development hours most professional bodies and employers require.
3. A public listing. We're on the CPD Provider Directory, where anyone can check.

What's being certified

Two flagship programmes are now with the CPD Assessments team:

The Certified HOBA® Business Transformation Architect (HBA®) Programme — 36 hours over six weeks: 20+ hours of on-demand video across eight modules and 40+ lessons, plus 16 hours of live group coaching. This is the same training given to HOBA Tech's own consultants, built on the six-step HOBA® framework from The Business Transformation Playbook®.

The HOBA® Enterprise Transformation Capability Programme — 16 hours, blended: self-paced foundation modules, then a one-day facilitator-led intensive where the organisation designs its own target operating model, transformation roadmap and business case on the HOBA® Roadmap Canvas — using itself as the case study.

Once assessment completes, both programmes will carry the CPD Certified seal, and every graduate will earn recognised CPD hours on top of their HOBA credential.

Why this matters more than another framework badge

Here's the distinction nobody in this market wants to draw:

TOGAF certifies architects. HOBA verifies Business Transformators.

Framework certification proves you can describe the framework. CPD verification of the HOBA programmes proves the training itself meets an independent professional standard — structured learning, assessed outcomes, real development hours.
